Belle Pulses Ltd is a leading agricultural seed processor that has been in business for over 40 years. We process, split and mill field peas and export globally. We take a great deal of pride in the quality of our products and the relationships we have with our customers, producers and employees. We are seeking a motivated and hard working Grain Milling Operator.

The role of the Grain Milling Operator is vital to ensuring that all food production meets customer specifications. Grain Milling operations require keen attention to the specific functioning of the processing equipment. This attention to detail ensures appropriate process flow.

**Accountabilities**

**1)** **Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
- Monitor quality of production process and perform corrective machine adjustments
- Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions, product irregularities or non-conformances
- Record production performance and food quality data information
- Observe gauges, computer printouts and data points to verify specified processing conditions
- Document and maintain shift log of production and other data
- Conduct routine production and food quality tests for product to customer specifications
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot as needed,

**2)** **Secondary Tasks**
- Clean machines and work area and storage tools and supplies as assigned
- All other duties as assigned from time to time

**3)** **Compliance Responsibilities**
- Follow all Safety and Food Safety (HACCP) Standard Operating Procedures
- Observe and report any non-conformances to your supervisor, in a timely manner
- Complete Food Safety Daily Housekeeping and Miscellaneous Duties Checklist
- Ensure production process and/or end-product meets customer requirements
- Participate in Non-Conformance and Customer Complaint Resolution Processes
- Participate in and complete all safety training as assigned
- Adhere to all safety procedures

**Requirements**:
Applicants must be able to:

- Read and complete paperwork and follow verbal instructions
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Work as a productive team member
- Follow safety procedures

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
