**Accounting Supervisor**

**OBJECTIVE**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Propose and maintain systems to guarantee appropriate internal control and accuracy of financial data, and aid the group in constantly improving and keeping up job processes, techniques and documentation.
- Respond to enquiries from and build and sustain effective connections with internal/external customers, co-workers, supervisors, external organizations, suppliers and contractors.
- Offer leadership and guidance to a support team, involving: arranging of resources, training, technical guidance, performance management, growth, safety and discipline.
- Assure adherence with legislated and contractual obligations, corporate policies, professional principles and procedures.

**PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Five years or more of accounting experience, including sales and excise tax, is required.
- 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience is necessary.
- Expertise in internal controls, accounting procedures, rules, standards, and industry best practices is also essential.
