As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on specialist who can strengthen our digital presence, build trust through real customer stories, and drive organic growth through content, social media, UGC, and SEO.

**The Role**

The **Content, Social & SEO Specialist** is responsible for growing Sleep Shop’s organic visibility and engagement across social media and search. This role blends creativity with execution—capturing authentic content, managing day-to-day social channels, and ensuring Sleep Shop shows up where customers are researching, comparing, and making decisions.

You will work closely with the **Marketing Manager**, supporting quarterly themes, monthly promotions, and evergreen campaigns, while owning the day-to-day content engine that fuels organic growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Social Media & Content Creation**
- Plan, create, and publish organic content across Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, YouTube etc.
- Capture and edit short-form video and photo content in-store and at events (product education, staff expertise, customer stories)
- Support monthly promotions and quarterly themes with consistent, on-brand content
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely execution

**UGC, Reviews & Community Trust**
- Build and manage processes to request and collect customer reviews and UGC
- Monitor, respond to, and manage online reviews in collaboration with the Marketing Manager
- Encourage authentic, real-world content that reflects the Sleep Shop experience

**SEO & Organic Visibility**
- Support on-page SEO updates across the Sleep Shop website (blogs, product pages, landing pages)
- Conduct basic keyword research and competitor analysis
- Optimize content for search intent while keeping it customer-friendly and educational
- Work with the Marketing Manager to align SEO efforts with campaigns and long-term growth goals

**Collaboration & Execution**
- Coordinate closely with the Marketing Manager to align content with strategy
- Support influencer activations and content needs
- Ensure brand consistency across all content
- Track performance and share insights to improve results over time

**What Success Looks Like**
- Increased organic traffic and social engagement
- Consistent flow of high-quality UGC and customer reviews
- Strong local search presence for Sleep Shop locations
- Content that builds trust, educates customers, and supports in-store sales
- Reliable execution that keeps campaigns on track

**Experience**
- Proven experience in SEO optimization within a digital marketing or e-commerce environment.
- Familiarity with keyword research tools and techniques for effective content targeting.
- Understanding of metadata optimization and technical SEO best practices.
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles related to SEO and e-commerce is a plus.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
