**1 ‑ Full Time ‑ Risk Management Specialist**
**Quality Management**
The Risk Management & Contract Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining and communicating
processes related to risk management and develops and coordinates contract management activities at TBRHSC.
The Specialist oversees the development and maintenance of an Integrated Risk Management Program and works
practices for the organization. This includes an organization‑wide database and implementation of continuous
improvement and risk mitigation strategies.
Employment Requirements:
Education/Experience:
- Post‑Secondary education in Business, Legal Studies or a Health related discipline.
- Masters degree an asset.
Skills/Abilities:
- Certification in Health Care Risk Management and/or Risk Management Certification required, or ability to attain.
- Minimum 3‑5 years' experience in Healthcare, Risk Management.
- Previous experience and/or knowledge of Integrated Risk Management, Contract Management and business
continuity.
- Understanding of contract principles, legal terminology, and contract management processes
- Knowledge of broader healthcare system issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present and facilitate discussions.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs and general skills related software management.
Salary Range: $42.748 to 50.291
