We are honoured to be part of their journey.** **The Employer’s Culture** **Purpose** The primary purpose of our Receptionist is to reflect the warmth, kindness, professionalism, and care that we prescribe to for every student, potential students, faculty, and staff member. The Receptionist position is an on-site position based at our campus in Vancouver. The position is fast-paced and because it assists both of our sister schools simultaneously there are varying and constantly changing tasks to accomplish, all while maintaining a steady, calming presence in our front reception area. A friendly, approachable and helpful person that has a customer service and can-do attitude with a strong work ethic. You are willing to help across a wide spectrum of duties including accounting, customer service, and operations and can work independently and within a group. You are efficient and can work in a high-paced environment with professionalism and accuracy. **_ Key responsibilities:_** - _Welcome guests and students_ - _Day to day reception duties (mail, incoming phone calls, book appointments, record keeping, ordering supplies, printing, filing, etc.)_ - _Manage equipment and maintenance of the campus_ - _Help finance and admissions with record keeping and tracking, including attendance and other reporting requirements_ - _Support student and staff requests_ **_Required qualifications_**: - _Minimum two years experience in a customer service role_ - _Good computer and Microsoft Office skills_ - _Ability to adapt and ability to maintain a calm presence_ - _Ability to work with others from various cultural, educational and economic backgrounds_ - _Ability to work quickly when needed while maintaining accuracy and excellent customer service_ - _Must have one year of previous office administrative experience_ - _Strong ability and capacity to shift between tasks and requests_ - _Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines_ - _Excellent writing and speaking skills_ **_Job type_**: Full-time **_ Salary_**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour based on experience **_ Benefits_**:- Extended health care - Paid time off - Vision care - Dental - Self Development incentives **_Schedule_**: - _Work a 5 day/ 40 hours a week schedule that includes working on Saturday and Sunday (your days off will be Monday/Tuesday or Thursday/Friday).
