Brampton, Canada Brampton Plate (Custom Steel Fabrication) Full time

Brampton Plate is a progressive family owned Canadian company offering Custom Steel Cutting, Rolling, Brake Forming, Fabricating and CNC Machining for over 30 years. We are presently looking for Brake Press Operators with over 3 years experience to work closely with our current trades (Day Shift: 7:00am - 4:30pm)

** WE WILL TRAIN **

The below requirements are preferred but not required.
- Familiar with set up and safe operation of Accupress Press Brakes
- Select proper dies to form/bend steel to shapes/dimensions on drawings
- Shaping square/rectangle to rounds; eccentric & concentric cones as well as other unusual shapes, includding various degree bends
- Ability to read and understand drawings / blueprints
- Layout dimensions on material/plate when required
- Complete paperwork associated with position
- Knowledge of material grades and forming requirements pertaining to various grades
- Strong organization and time management skills / Ability to multitask
- Ability to clearly communicate in English, both verbal and written
- Accuracy and attention to detail is imperative
- Experience with lifting devices (overhead cranes / forklifts)
- Works safely and in compliance with company policies and Ontario / Regional laws
