About the Role
Based on-site at our head office in Brampton, ON., MJardin Group is looking to hire a Regulatory Affairs Coordinator.
This role will have key operational contributions by conducting a range of work activities directed towards achieving and maintaining compliance with the Health Canada, CRA, and various Provincial cannabis authorities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring MJardin products comply with the Canadian Cannabis Regulations, Act, and associated policies with the federal government
- Manage license renewals and annual registrations and reports in a timely manner
- Prepare and submit monthly CTLS reports to Health Canada and assist with monthly inventory/sales reports to CRA
- Co-ordinate and compile regulatory notifications and submissions for assigned projects including NNCP’s, license amendments, site changes, and mandatory notifications.
- Maintain awareness of current regulatory environment and guidelines that impact the industry/company, and update MJardin senior management accordingly
- Prepare and submit (or assist the Finance department with) annual reports - Promotions, Revenue, Key Investor reports and decks
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance and identify areas needing improvement
- Participate in Health Canada audits and inspections and prepare responses to observation reports
- Complete gap analysis and conduct assessments regarding regulatory changes under the Cannabis Regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Identify risks and participate in investigations/deviations/CAPA’s related to compliance
- Support product launches through the review of applicable elements including formulation review, label approval, and packaging assessments.
- Assist in the development of corporate policies, procedures, and organizational structure to ensure compliance
- Review proposed changes to labels, packaging, documents, software, processes, record keeping, for impact on regulatory status
- Inform the MJardin of any regulatory changes and participate in surveys, questionnaires, and requests for feedback by Health Canada
- Provide regulatory compliance guidance and leadership to the export program
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs and/or Compliance at a Canadian Cannabis company.
- Degree/Diploma in a related field - Bachelor of Science (ideally Post-graduate Certificate in Regulatory Affairs)
- Experience with Canadian Regulations, Health Canada Cannabis Act and Cannabis Regulations, Excise Act, Cannabis Licensing, and Provincial Cannabis Regulations.
- Previously demonstrated ability to interpret and understand regulations in the context of commercial cannabis environment.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal; demonstrated consistent and prompt use of sound legal and business judgment.
- Related regulatory experience with cannabis, natural health products (NHP), pharmaceutical or previous experience dealing with Health Canada.
