We’re hiring a full-time Bookkeeper in our Halifax, NS office. The Bookkeeper will be supporting the operations of Nova Aerospace Structures, working with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of Nova Aerospace Structures. As a small company with the goal of market share expansion, a bookkeeper would be expected to perform a variety of tasks in a dynamic company, including: payroll processing; invoice management; bill payments; configuration management tasks; client communication; support of our quality management system; and other ad-hoc tasks.

In our day-to-day, we use classical analysis, finite element analysis, and 3D modeling capabilities to design and analyze aircraft interior products for clients across North America. **About You**
You are an experienced bookkeeper and are looking to join a small company to grow with professionally. You are an organized person with bookkeeping experience and strong communication skills and are willing to perform a variety of tasks to accomplish company goals.

Education
- Post-secondary degree in related field considered an asset
Experience
- Experience working with QuickBooks
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience maintaining an organized office
- Experience working within a small company considered an asset
- Experience working within a quality management system considered an asset
- Professional verbal and written communication abilities
Other Requirements
- Must speak, read and write fluently in English
- A valid driver’s license and evidence of insurability is an asset
- Must be able to meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Must be able to work on-site in Halifax, Nova Scotia
- Ability to access US bank accounts is strongly preferred (i.e. having an SSN or ITIN)
**What You Will Do**
- Collate employees’ timesheets and process payroll
- Manage accounts payable and receivable (i.e. invoices, purchase orders, bill payment)
- Organize and maintain project cost information for senior management
- Ensure office is organized and supplied
- Support Nova Aerospace Structures' quality management system
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
