Business Development Representative

Business Development Representatives (BDR) are responsible for outbound sales prospecting. Rather than trying to close deals, their work revolves around generating and qualifying new leads and moving them through the sales pipeline, until they’re ready to talk to our account executives and other sales “closers.” This two-step system enables our sales reps and account executives to focus on closing deals, rather than finding new leads, getting past gatekeepers, and other prospecting-related tasks. They are measured by their handoffs of qualified pipeline to our Account Executive Sales team. Organizational and follow-up skills are key, and a competitive, friendly, numbers-driven personality will thrive here.
**A day in the life of an BDR**
- Research, identify, and generate weekly new opportunities
- Responsible for tracking customer interactions & information in a CRM
- Thrive in a continuous changing environment while remaining highly organized, optimistic, and coachable.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Fluent in English
- 1-3 years of corporate sales experience (software sales is a plus)
- Proven track record of success prospecting for new business
- Ability to uncover and understand customer needs
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- A motivated, driven and self-starting attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
Ability to multi-task, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
