We're growing quickly and are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to help expand our client base and strengthen our relationships with property managers, insurance partners, and commercial clients.
Job Overview
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at MapleTrust Restoration, you'll be the driving force behind our business growth. You'll identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and help position MapleTrust as a trusted leader in restoration and remediation services.
The ideal candidate has experience in B2B sales, ideally in property services, construction, restoration, or facility management, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the property management, insurance, and commercial real estate sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients by understanding their restoration and maintenance needs.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and local market trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted outreach campaigns and lead generation strategies.
- Manage and track leads, opportunities, and client communications using CRM tools (Salesforce or equivalent).
- Deliver clear and professional presentations about MapleTrust's restoration and remediation services.
- Negotiate service agreements and close deals while ensuring a smooth client onboarding process.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to promote long-term partnerships.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in restoration, construction, or property services.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with a record of achieving sales goals.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
- A customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping clients solve problems quickly and professionally.
- Valid Ontario driver's license and access to reliable transportation (required for client visits).
