**What Will You Do?**
- Complete data entry and scheduling requirements for dock.
- Assist with dispatching responsibilities such as arranging daily movements by assigning drivers to loads and equipment, and completing manifests.
- Complete the stickering, sorting and entering of bills of lading into the computer for outgoing freight.
- Assist drivers in person, over the phone or satellite with problems, inquiries, and any delivery discrepancies.
- Assist with the movement of freight on the dock as required. Complete required paperwork for loads and unloads of freight.
- Communicate details of discrepancies, concerns, or complaints to Quebec City Operations Supervisor regularly.
- Photocopy all bills regarding shortages and damages for OSD.
- Communicate with Quebec City Operations Supervisor, regarding operational issues and problems.
- Oversee operations department in the absence of the Operations Supervisor.
- Move and monitor freight according to delivery schedules and appointment times.
- Work closely with the Montreal Terminal/Montreal Cold Storage to ensure that all deliveries or pick-ups are rescheduled correctly.
- Constant open communication with all staff to ensure that operations continue to run smoothly and efficiently.
- Stock, pick and prepare orders in the warehouse. Performs an inventory count of products.
- Receive sign and count freight when required.
- Responsible for unload freight manually or mechanically from incoming trucks or trailers. Count product when required. Record any shortages, damages, overages on the pick-up or Linehaul manifest, and report any discrepancy to the Lead-hand.
- Load or assist in loading appropriate freight onto delivery trucks or trailers and shrink wrap and block secure pallets when required. Ensure that appropriate bills are with skid.
- Pick orders for shipping from “picking slips.”
- Locate orders according to slips (freezer). Ensure accurate piece count.
- Stage orders on dock to meet shipping deadlines.
- Responsible for inventory control (manual and computer).
- All other duties as required.

- Computer experience and keyboard skills are required.
- Excellent people and communication skills required to provide quality customer service.
- Previous transportation office experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift freight and other objects up to 50 lbs.
- Valid fork-lift license required.
- Excellent people skills while dealing with drivers on a regular basis.
- Ensure smooth flow of communication, directions and paper flow.
- Computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite and AS400 preferred.
