Are you eager to join a dynamic team and play a key role in a growing and evolving company? Eddyfi is looking for a Buyer like you to join its Procurement team
As a team member, you will be involved in planning material resources for the production of high-value instruments and equipment. Your strong sense of responsibility and good judgment will be invaluable in your new role. You will need to use your analytical skills to make informed decisions. Your strong work methods will be essential for effective inventory control of components purchased in Quebec and internationally.

In this role, you will be responsible for
- Preparing bids and negotiating prices, deliveries, and packaging to optimize acquisition costs;
- Preparing and transmitting purchase orders;
- Researching and negotiating with approved suppliers;
- Identifying and selecting suppliers based on delivery times, price, quality, and service;
- Following up with suppliers and sending reminders;
- Ensuring that inventory shortages are avoided while optimizing inventory levels;
- Ensuring compliance with Eddyfi's quality system procedures and requirements;
- Participating in the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations;
- Any other related tasks.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in administration with a specialization in procurement or a related field;
- Two years of relevant experience;
- Excellent knowledge of the Office suite;
- Knowledge of inventory control and manufacturing operations;
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills;
- Knowledge of the Genius ERP system (an asset);
- Knowledge of electronic components and machining (an asset);
- Rigorous, autonomous, and a team player;
- Excellent written and spoken English.
