Position Overview:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Dyer to support our lead dyer in the daily production of our unique yarn collections. This is a hands-on position that involves working in a fast-paced, creative environment where attention to detail and teamwork are key.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Lead Dyer in preparing and executing dyeing tasks.
- Rinse Yarn thoroughly to ensure proper color setting.
- Dry Yarn using designated drying methods and equipment.
- Load Dye Pots with precision to meet quality standards.
- Twist Yarn into Skeins for packaging and presentation.
- Prep for Next-Day Work, including organizing materials and supplies.
- Occasionally Support the Shipping Department, assisting with packing and fulfilling customer orders.

Qualifications:

- A keen eye for detail and quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a physically active role (standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
- Experience in dyeing, yarn, or fibre arts is a bonus but not required.

Schedule:

- Flexible 30-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Occasional weekend work may be required during busy periods.
