**Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Assistant to join our team at DMT Business Group. This role is vital in supporting our operations by ensuring efficient shop management and delivering excellent customer service. The position is based in Lethbridge, Alberta.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in material handling, shipping, returns and inventory control
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Cooperative nature and drive to succeed
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and to prioritize tasks
- Up-to-date forklift ticket
- Journeyman ticket an asset
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract (Please bring a three-year abstract to your interview)
- Mechanically inclined is considered an asset for equipment maintenance

**Responsibilities**:
**Assist in the following**:

- Manage the tool crib, ensuring all items are accounted for at all times
- Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order and maintained
- Pickup and delivery of materials from vendors to job sites and the shop
- Receiving delivered materials by matching the packing slip to the items delivered
- Documenting materials received, shipped or returned or taken from inventory
- Inventory control tracking and management assistance
- Assist crews in ensuring they have all needed materials, tools and supplies
- Consistently work as a team, in a safe manner and support DMT’s safety culture

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
