Reporting directly to the Shift Leader and/or Process & Tooling Manager, the incumbent would be responsible for the safe and efficient set-up and operation of a variety of machines while maintaining safety and quality.

**Hours**: Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

**Safety**:
As a Set-Up Technician of machinery, your first and foremost responsibility is safety.
- Read and understand the Company Safety Manual and Set-Up Training Manual
- Practice good safety habits
- Ensure your machine has been signed off according to Company policy before using.
- Assist the Leader in setting a good example and ensure that all personnel understand and comply with our Health and Safety Policies and Legislated Occupational Health and Safety Standards.

Quality is everyone’s responsibility. Know your part in the ISO 9001:2015 Quality System.

**Specific Duties**:

- Capable of testing all machine and tooling safeties, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic functions.
- Capable of setting up any and all tooling in any and all machinery, including auxiliary equipment, safely and efficiently.
- Capable of starting up equipment to achieve established processing parameters, and correct for environmental conditions as may be required, in order to produce parts that meet established quality and productivity requirements.
- Must have excellent knowledge on various types’ of resins and associated materials.
- Must have excellent understanding of all machine functions and how process changes affect quality and productivity.
- Participate in development and maintenance of 6S program
- Must be capable of establishing consistent process, set monitoring features to control within tolerances.

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
