**Cultivation Technician - Job Description**

The Cultivation Technician position, under the direction of the Head of Cultivation, Cultivation Manager, and various departmental Team Leads, is responsible for supporting the entire growth process of cannabis plants, including trimming activities, sanitation, and processing of the harvested cannabis in preparation for extraction. As a Cultivation Technician you will provide support to various departments as needed to help ensuring maximum efficiency and optimal plant health.

The Cultivation Technician will report directly to the Cultivation Manager or designate and will have no direct reports. In the event of absence, another member of the Cultivation Team will provide coverage.

**Job Duties**
- Oversee the cultivation rooms, including set up, tear down, and sanitation of equipment
- Assist with maintaining, feeding, pruning, and training of the plants
- Work to ensure the environment for the growth of the plants is optimal and the plants are progressing on time, accurately, and without plant health issues
- Ensure all product(s) and equipment are labeled according to the SOPs
- Deconstruct, sanitize, and rebuild equipment as required by production
- Sanitize all products, surfaces, and equipment, according to SOPs and company standards
- Follow SOPs for receiving, preparing, storing, arranging, and manicuring product to ensure quality
- Complete harvest duties according to the Production schedule
- Assist with Post Harvest duties such as drying, trimming, packaging, scaling, quality control checks, size sorting, etc
- Assist with destruction of waste products, according to the SOPs
- Assist with general sanitation of the facility, including deep cleans for grow rooms and common areas
- Ensure that daily activities are recorded accurately and according to the SOPs
- Promote a positive atmosphere of teamwork and motivation
- Coordinate efforts with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
- Teach and train staff in a supportive manner
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma
- General Labor experience preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a flexible work environment
- Ability to work well as a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Proven ability to plan, set and achieve goals
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check

**Work Conditions**

This role requires a company-provided uniform and additional Personal Protective Equipment to be worn at all times.

- Must be able to work with all forms of cannabis (Live & Dry)
