We are looking for a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician at our Walker Compost Facility location in Arthur, ON.

The Heavy Duty Equipment Technician will be servicing heavy equipment on regular intervals including preventative maintenance, performing hydraulic work and major mechanical repairs to the equipment, and ordering parts and documenting repairs as needed. This is a full time position, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- At least 5 years’ experience as a licensed heavy-duty mechanic.
- Experienced Heavy Equipment Technician (421A) certification an asset.
- Propane ticket is an asset.
- Common core training is an asset
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Strong commitment to established safety protocols.
