Process Technician Associate

**Job Summary**: Process Technician is responsible for supporting the manufacturing design process of products and the capability and quality assurance on each process developed for machining and assembly area. Support production and mass production on analysis, process improvements and practices that enable optimum production output in cost reduction, process optimization, quality improvements, and scrap reduction. Achieves Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) targets. **Reports to**: Team Leader, Technical **Qualifications**: - Technical diploma in engineering. - 1-3 years of experience of process development for machined parts and assembly. - 1-3 years of experience of tooling for machining. Musashi Expectations **Company Standards**: - Uphold company policies. - Be a champion of Musashi Philosophy. - Follow all safety procedures & instructions. - Actively involved in company and department goals. - Follow Musashi’s “5S” principles, quality, environmental, and health & safety systems. - Interact with all Musashi working peers in a respectful and pleasant manner. **Responsibilities**: - Provide technical support to production departments and manufacturing activities to achieve QCD targets. - Support new product launches and development of new processes. - Support OEE and capacity analysis, and action plan as required. - Support cycle time evaluations and follow up with technicians on action items. - Assist and maintain process documentation for mass production and new products, PWS, offset sheets, PFMEA, PDCA methodology, and CAD skills. - Assist Purchasing in the sourcing and development of vendors. - Assist tooling life analysis and create tooling Bill of Materials (BOMs). - Attend annual health and safety training including (but not limited to) WHMIS, and Lockout Tag-out. - Perform related duties as required **Personal Skills**: - Exceptional people skills and interpersonal communication skills. - Self-motivated and well organized. - Able to multitask. - Works well alone or as a team. - Flexible with good time management. - Excellent technical skills. **Please note**: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the associate for this job.
