We strive to provide our customers with great customer service and experience. We have a fleet of Straight trucks to Highway tractors with reefer trailers to some walking floor trailers. Our work environment includes: - Uniforms Provided - On-the-job training - Flexible working hours - Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma - Must have your own hand tools. - Able to work independently. - Valid license, willing to upgrade. - Possible Apprentice Opportunity - Wage dependent on experience - Shift choice possible (Flexible working hours) **Tasks** - Move tools, equipment and other materials. - Perform miscellaneous laboring activities to help other workers as directed. - Clean machines and immediate work areas - Keep maintenance reports and documentation. - Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. - Evaluate repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. - Perform repair work on heavy trucks. - Responsible for washing and sanitizing the interior of semi trailers and straight trucks and other duties as required. - Must be willing to work weekends and evenings if needed **Area of work experience** - Installation - Maintenance - Repair - Heavy Truck Mechanics **Qualifications** - Experience operating a shunt truck on site (considered an asset) - Experience moving trailers (considered an asset) - Safety shoes - G-class driver’s license (considered an asset) - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Excellent communication skills - Attention to detail - Must be able to tolerate all types of weather and physical demands of position **Area of specialization / Personal suitability** - Dependability - Attention to detail - Repetitive tasks - Fast-paced environment - Efficient people skills - Excellent oral communication - Flexibility - Initiative - Organized - Reliability - Team player - Heavy Equipment - Work Term: Permanent - Work Language: English - Hours: Range - **Note**:_This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include every task or responsibility that may be required.
