We are seeking a **Procurement Student **for our **Canadian Industrial Division **that is available** **for **8 months** starting in **January 2025**. This position will be under the direct supervisor of the** District Procurement Manager.**

Here's how a(n) Procurement Student for our Edmonton Industrial Management office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**:

- Sourcing materials, services and equipment as directed and in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Identifying and selecting vendors to purchase requisitioned commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality, safety, and delivery date.
- Expediting orders.
- Shipping and receiving.
- Maintaining inventory levels and records.
- Preparing procurement reports and documentation as required.
- Providing equipment administration support.
- Practicing PCL safety practices.
- Assisting in all aspects, as is reasonably available, of procurement & equipment management activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a Supply Chain Management or Operations Management specialization in a post-secondary institution.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with co-workers.
- Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
