What you'll be doing

As a UX Research Analyst you will be focused on conducting UX research for the Investor’s Edge self-directed investing platform. You will be responsible for supporting business teams using research methods to inform the planning, design and delivery of client-facing digital experiences. This can include understanding client needs and sentiments, validating product or design hypotheses/assumptions for a design or validating product or design hypotheses/assumptions on multiple design options.

How you'll succeed
- Analysis & interpretation - Review and analyze research data from studies, surveys, market reports and dashboards to uncover meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Communicate and present research results - Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Deliver research presentations to the project team, development staff and senior executives to facilitate design excellence and strategic planning.
- Effective teamwork & collaboration: Work closely with cross-disciplinary project teams including business stakeholders, product managers, project managers, business analysts, and technology. Contribute collaboratively to an iterative design and research process with our UX team (UX and UI design, content and strategy)
- Be a research thought leader - Contribute to research operations and help build a body of knowledge that contributes to a user-centered design process by maintaining a repository of research and developing best practice guides on UX research. Participate in the UXR community.
- Interested in investing - You are passionate and enthusiastic about learning about the investing landscape to excited to join the adventure of innovation and change.

Who you are
- You can demonstrate experience in the UX research with a minimum of 1-3 years of design research experience; as well as domain knowledge and/or keen interest in self-directed investing. You have a proven track record of effective research planning, study execution, and presentation of findings.
- You have a degree/diploma Human-Computer Interaction, Engineering, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Social Science, or a related field.
- You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems and making sense of information. You’re confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.
