Open to discuss during interview.** **What You Will Do As a Digital Merchandiser** This position will have responsibility for the day-to-day merchandising operations of the Kodiak and Terra eCommerce and brand websites and support wholesale digital partners. The Digital Merchandiser will be involved in a broad range of activities, including responsibility for product presentation across channels, seasonal assortment management, and enhancing site content across the Kodiak and Terra websites. **How You Will Make a Difference** - Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Kodiak and Terra websites with a focus on merchandising - including web content management, catalog and image management, and analytics to improve discoverability (SEO), user experience, and conversion. - Support site merchandising strategies aligned with promotional and content calendars, digital marketing endeavours and other initiatives, including promotion and catalog setup, and pricing maintenance. - Manage/Maintain website dictionary, updating it regularly to include common consumer product misspellings, product names, and good search terms, create alternate product recommendation pages for "null" search terms to improve the search experience for website browsers. - Work with website development team to support Quality Assurance (QA)/ User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes to support new and ongoing initiatives to manage stakeholder expectations and proactively mitigate project risks. - Monitor inventory availability across channels to support seasonal launches, promotional activity and work with Operations team to ensure inventory availability for digital channels, transferring inventory as appropriate. - Support wholesale digital partners with product setup and maintain product information database for wholesale sales team use. - Keep up to date with industry best practice, developments in web technology and monitor competitor websites. **Skills For Success** - Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant e-commerce experience in the consumer products industry, preferably footwear. - Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration, eCommerce or Marketing. - Experience in website management (content management, online merchandising). - Solid understanding of web analytics (GA preferred) and experience in analyzing and reporting on campaign performance and identifying insights to drive better business results and growth. - Understanding of search engines, search engine optimization, critical updates and other factors that influence rankings with search engines. - Working knowledge of HTML & CSS. - Moderate to high level skill with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and database queries, as well as familiarity with Adobe Suite software. - Possess an understanding of website architecture, internal website search and URL structure. - Proven track record of eCommerce sales success. - Experience with CMS systems required, specifically Demandware platform is an asset. - Analytical skills - ability to interpret data, identify trends and develop action plans to grow sales. - Strong planning and organization skills. Maintains a sense of urgency and able to manage multiple projects and schedule demands.
