**About the Role**

Reporting to the Communications & Reputation Manager, this role will be responsible for functional excellence within the Corporate Relations team, providing strategic and tactical communications and planning support.

- Advocate for LNG Canada’s Code and Conduct and Anti-Bribery and Corruption Manual, ensuring 100% compliance (in CR and across the organization)

**You will use your expertise to**:

- Supports the CEO, VP Corporate Relations and Head of Communications with timely and informative briefing material ahead of government and stakeholder outreach
- SharePoint focal for Corporate Relations
- Supports integrated Corporate Relations calendar of activities, updates monthly, and assists with planning for upcoming sponsorships, events, and announcements ensuring LNG Canada presents professionally and methodically reinforcing our culture and values
- Supports development of quarterly stakeholder health check for Corporate Relations, ensuring LNG Canada has its thumb on the pulse of stakeholder sentiment locally, regionally and nationally
- Leads planning and execution (including meeting facilitation) for the JVP CR subcommittee meetings quarterly, preparing plans and content to communicate LNG Canada’s performance to deliver on its promises
- Support the Communications Lead in working with the company’s agency of record to design, develop and deploy communications about project/company milestones, project performance and values of the company (project coordination)
- Support VIP stakeholder tours, and JVP visits as required (assisting the site contractor Communications Coordinator)
- Support emergency and crisis response, as needed, in the administration or writer role within Crisis Management Team
- Support the Internal Communications Manager with planning and content deployment of internal communications channels across Yammer, town halls, face-to-face engagements, video and digital signage
- Support media/social media relations and branding activities and being an advocate for LNG Canada’s brand standards (including assisting and interpreting brand standards in the procurement of branded merchandise and managing the branded merchandise web site via SilverTip)

**To be successful, you will have**:

- A post-secondary degree in Communications or Public Relations.
- Five years of professional experience mix in business, communications, event planning or marketing
- Project management experience a plus
- Ability to influence without direct responsibility.
- Strategic thinker, self-starter, excellent problem-solver, highly motivated, proactive, flexible and results-oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience managing and responding to issues and crisis as part of an integrated team.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and willingness to be involved in additional activities outside prescribed job description
