As the Communications Coordinator, you will be a key member of the Enserva team, working collaboratively with the team to deliver clear, informative and inspiring communications. **Do you have what it takes?**
- Plan, develop and execute a broad range of communications activities in support of Enserva’s strategic direction and the supporting communications strategy, including materials such as information packages, digital content, reports, proposals, etc.

Proactively develop communications solutions to key topics or emerging issues, providing timely and effective responses to media inquiries, crisis communications as needed, and briefings to stakeholders and the team

Design, manage and evolve the Enserva website and social media strategies, ensuring relevant, timely and meaningful content that leads to growth in social media followers and engagement, and earned media coverage

Review others’ work to ensure a consistent and effective voice for Enserva
- Develop and implement communications and engagement approaches, in collaboration with the Enserva team, that elevate the issues, priorities, and profiles of our members

Stay current on member issues and topics of interest to help ensure meaningful and timely programming and services

Respond to member inquiries and areas of need

Identify and build key networks across associations, member companies and the sector

**Who are you?**

A key to your success will be your solid understanding of outcome-based communications planning.  You will also bring superior written and verbal skills, as well as the ability to present and synthesize effectively.   In addition you will also have:
Minimum 2 years’ external communications experience, with preference given to experience in stakeholder relations, member communications, media/social media, website management, crisis communications

Degree or diploma in communications/marketing

Experience writing for a variety of audiences including government
- Experience with WordPress (or similar CMS), Mailchimp, MS Office

The following would be considered an asset:

- Experience with event planning
- Knowledge of and experience in the energy sector
- Basic graphic design skills

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calgary, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
