If you are looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you Based in our Brantford, ON location, as an integral part of the Operations team the Valve Assembler will support our operation in a cross-functional setting. This position requires a safety mindset, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work in a team setting.

**IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE**:

- Assemble/build manifolds, valves, and related products.
- Properly follow work instructions and procedures, written and verbal.
- Read, interpret and understand engineering drawings.
- Operate product test equipment.
- Operate power tools, drills, impact gun and manual hand tools. Use assembly jigs and any other tools and equipment that may be necessary.
- Prepare name plates, Mylar labels, print I&M sheets.
- Other related duties as assigned.

**FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED**:

- High School Diploma
- Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effectively work well with other workers, be flexible, maintain good listening and communication skills, both verbal and written, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Be mechanically inclined.
- Willingness to work overtime after hours/on weekends.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
- Ability to work in Canada without needing sponsorship now or in the future

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART**:

- Experience working within a manufacturing environment is an asset
