Niagara Energy Products, with a reputation for excellence as a producer of heavy, nuclear grade, fabrications, is currently accepting resumes for an Assembler position in our Brantford, ON facility. This is a permanent position.

The Assembler will assist others in completing their production and maintenance related tasks and in addition, support the end fitting production. Assemblers will contribute to Niagara Energy Products’ positive, high energy continuous improvement environment while meeting customer schedules and specifications.

**In this position, you will**:

- Accurately perform hydro testing
- Be responsible for washing End Fittings
- Carefully assemble End Fittings
- General housekeeping duties throughout the facility
- Operate all equipment and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with all Niagara Energy Products’ work processes
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Perform other related duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is required-2-3 years
- Previous experience operating an overhead crane is required-1-2 years
- Have the ability to perform tasks such as sanding, stoning and buffing or polishing1-2 years
- Experience working in a tool and die shop-1-2 years
- Have a general understanding of machined parts
- Minimum grade twelve(12) diploma is required
- Valid G-class driver’s license
- Crane license/training is considered an asset
- Capable of lifting 20-50 LBS
- Capable of reaching, bending, kneeling and standing for long periods
- Positive and cooperative
- Have the ability to work well independently in a fast paced environment
