If you want to learn new skills or work with high performing teams, Mott has a spot for you. **Benefits of Working at Mott**: - Hiring Bonus - Competitive compensation package - Benefit package, including health care, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, out of country medical - Annual profit sharing bonus - Annual cost of living adjustment - Group Pension and RRSP (after 6 months of employment) - Safety shoe and safety glasses allowances - Company events and lunches **Shifts**:Day shift (Monday to Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) **Must be flexible for any straight shift** **Job Type**: Permanent Full-time **Probation Wage**: $23.80 to $24.75 **Probation Completion Wage**: $25.35 **One Year Wage**: $26.68 - *Pay ranges are dependent on shift and experience_ **Assembler - Key Responsibilities**: - Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act - Read labels and assemble product as required - Inspect and verify painted surfaces for runs, coverage and other quality requirements - Inspect and verify cabinets according to orders to ensure requirements are met - Review orders for components and select what to use - Choose correct sub-components for finished product requirements - Match proper handles, locks, etc. to the order requirements - Assemble various cabinet types as per schedule - Install insulation properly - Verify all moving parts, doors and drawers for smooth and correct functioning - Cut handles and other needs - Cross reference the order number and cabinet number to the assembly order sheet to determine the type of build required - Include appropriate touch-up paint and other requirements as per customer orders - Minimize WIP - Complete paperwork and sign offs as per quality procedure requirements - Package in a manner which ensures the integrity of the product through transport to customers - Perform other duties as required **Skills & Experience**: - Ability to work with power hand tools effectively (i.e. cordless drill) - Attention to detail is critical - Able to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational skills - Strong problem solving skills - Quality oriented - Physically fit for heavy lifting of >35 lbs - The above are not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties, responsibilities and requirements of the job described.
