**THE ROLE ~ Sales/Business Development Manager**
You will work to create the strategic plan for the business, and manages the Sales and Marketing to achieve the plan(s). You will be responsible to formulate both long and short-term goals for the overall success of the organizations. You support the Sales team and collaborate with Operations to meet objectives, and assist in delivering positive Key Performance Indicators, through Performance Management. You will look for new business partners and work to continuously improve the overall business process, and procedures. You are responsible for onboarding, training, developing teams, partners and contractors, and systems to continually monitor and report progress and performance. You ensure the company brands and images are presented in such a way that we are portrayed as a World Class company within our industries.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist in the creation of the overall Business Plan (B2B and B2C) with President
- Establish and maintain Sales goals, growth and renewals
- Build and maintain a strong performing Sales team
- Development of existing staff and the on-boarding process for new hires
- Manage performance of the team through regular performance meetings and reviews
- Establish and grow, territory Sales Partners, Contractor’s and Distribution Channels
- Develop and manage the customer journey, and reputation management
- Fiscal Sales management, KPI and regular reporting
**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
- A degree in business, management, marketing or related field.
- 5 years experience and proven professional track record in sales management
- 10 Years in Business, account management, related industry experience
- Must have a portfolio and references from previous business/sales management roles
- Relationship builder who enjoys leading and engaging with their team and prospects
- Demonstrated self-starter, motivated and hungry for growth
- Strong knowledge of account management techniques for leveraging and expansion
- Strong command of English for clear verbal/ written communications and presentation skills
- Strong math and estimating skills
- Experience with IT tools (i.e., CRM, Sales funnel, Distributor management)
- Clean, valid G Driver’s license

**Garden City Groundskeeping Services Ltd**. is a commercial landscape maintenance and snow removal company established in 2002, operating year-round in Brampton, Mississauga and Etobicoke. We provide landscape design, maintenance, snow and construction services. We are looking to expand this business and double in 3-5 years.
**WORKING CONDITIONS**
The Manager will participate in trade shows, Lunch and Learn presentations, and new relationships/ channel partnership development. Working from home can be part of the job. Travel will be required for territory prospecting, and 2-3 days working in the office would be expected.
**COMPENSATION**
Full time salary plus Benefits plan (2400), RRSP (1300) top up, and commission structure up to (60K+) for y0ou and your team success.
