**Overview**:The Project Manager will manage and oversee the successful completion of specialized loads and projects for our client roster which includes work and coordination with our teams in permits, dispatch, finance, sales, and brokerage departments.
This position requires someone who has strong knowledge of the trucking industry, particularly Tri-Axle to 13-Axle over-dimensional work. You also excel at working through problems and you enjoy a challenge. You are quick thinking and enjoy working in a team environment. You want to help our company achieve success with every load that you manage while ensuring everyone is safe and complies with all rules and regulations.

**Responsibilities**:
- You understand that communication is key with our customer, department teams, and drivers. You are part of a great team of people who all need to work together to get the job done.
- You will develop, document, and execute a comprehensive plan for the project or load, working with teams in dispatch, brokerage, sales, customs, permits, and finance to drive optimal customer service, trucking growth and profitability across the business.
- You can support and manage challenging orders that include dangerous goods, hazardous materials, overweight and/or over-dimensional loads, and sensitive loads.
- You want to manage and plan the movement of freight including over-dimensional and heavy haul loads, across demanding terrain and across borders ensuring correct permitting, pilot cars, proper equipment/trailers.
- You understand and obtain the basic knowledge of most province and state rules and regulations regarding transportation, proper routing, curfews, pilot cars required, high loads, etc.
- You have basic knowledge of trailers from tri-axle combination to 13-Axle Combination.
- You will review all orders and invoices that are related to your projects to ensure accuracy, and complete the reconciliation as required.
- You can support the coordination with other modes of necessary travel such as air, ship / barge / ferry and rail.
- You can provide sales support including sourcing bids and completing quotes on project-based work. Both singular loads and multiple loads.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $78,000.00-$98,000.00 per year
