**Shop Supervisor**:

- This role will provide support to Operations Manager and responsible for managing daily operations as well as the staff members who make services or repairs. Shop Foreman must create employee work schedules as well as train and oversee subordinates to verify that they are performing all of their duties effectively. Foreman is also responsible for making sure the equipment works properly, and making repairs and ensuring the safety of the working environment as well as the workers using it. Shop Foreman is entrusted with running a productive workshop, which means that the space must be clean and safe, with working equipment as well as capable staff members that are able to make repairs
- Primary Responsibilities:

- Conduct profitable and effective management of assigned shop segments.
- Manage a team of technicians in all aspects of productivity including estimation/quoting, diagnostics and invoicing
- Liaise with customer, sales and internal teams as required on service issues and opportunities
- Assist in all technical aspects including diagnostics and parts support where required
- Manage warranty and rework to assigned targets
- Manage technicians to a timely and productive service schedule (Labour Utilization)
- Comply with and engage all safety requirements such as tool box meetings, safety meetings and hazard analyses
- Manage administrative requirements such as cost coding and time and materials allocations, job stories
- Mentor and train mechanics and
- Ensure job stories are complete for every work order
- Some hands on mechanical work may be
- Conduct weekly/regular production meetings with appropriate personnel.
- Create review and approve repair, machining and fabrication proposals/quotations as required.
- Review orders for profitability, communicate suggestions for improvement to employees and
- Review processes to identify shop efficiencies and make recommendations on potential changes to
- Review shop expenses regularly for accuracy and

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Journeyman Millwright an asset
- Working knowledge of rotational equipment Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Shop Foreman role
- Strong communication skills

- Ability to deal with multiple requests Background/knowledge of heavy-duty parts Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- A strong desire to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information:
**Job Types**:Hourly, Full Time, Permanent

**Location**: Local Fort McMurray Position, No Camp or Flights Available

**Schedule**: Monday-Friday/ 8 hours per day. Day shift only (On-call as required)
