**Supervisor**

Job Summary:
An Operations Supervisor at Tuc’s Contracting is responsible for performing the following duties:

- Ensuring Health and Safety as the number one priority, complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Dispatch
- Coordinate equipment, employees, and maintenance by creating and maintaining effective and efficient communications and scheduling
- Perform ride-a-longs with employees
- Monitor and review the scheduling of drivers as per Alberta legislation
- Monitoring employees in the field
- Ensuring employees are trained on equipment
- Conduct field evaluations for employees
- Provide outstanding customer relations for all jobs, and ensuring effective communication during all phases of job with the customer
- Organizing and controlling the distribution of materials and manpower required for the job
- Ensuring effective Tool Box and safety meetings

The shift rotation for this position is 10/4 or 21/14. Shift is flexible to accommodate employer/employee needs.

Qualifications:

- Experience in truck transportation. Water & Vac, Hydrovac and Steamer, Fluid Hauling (TDG & NON TDG) experience would be an asset
- Class 1 or 3 Driver’s license
- A minimum 5 years** **supervisory or managerial experience is required
- Knowledge of Federal, Provincial and Local environmental regulations as well as Tuc’s Contracting policies and procedures
- CSTS, OSSA, H2S Alive, First Aid and Confined Space
- Must be able to access major oilsands sites (no site bans)
