Delivery Helper

La-Z-Boy is looking for an energetic Delivery Helper/ Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse and distribution team. Responsible for delivering furniture, working in the Warehouse, opening, assembling, wrapping, receiving, and loading Customer's orders. As a representative of the La-Z-Boy name and brand you play an integral role in the success of the company. The Warehouse Associate is energetic, collaborative, and always willing to lend a hand.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Use of forklifts (order pickers) and other equipment for storing and moving products in the warehouse to maximize space, and move products into designated areas for pickups, deliveries and store transfer.
- Assist in loading and unloading furniture off La-Z-Boy delivery trucks before and after deliveries and store transfers
- Review product against paperwork to check for order completeness and accuracy
- Assist customers with loading customer for customer pickup and completing the necessary paperwork accurately.
- Assist with delivery of products to customer homes serving as a Delivery Swamper, carrying items into homes, and setting up to customer’s preference
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace and working to maintain a clean and safe warehouse complying with all safety regulations established by the company

**Required Qualifications**:

- Forklift Operating Certification and/or training considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 150 pounds and move up to 350 pounds with use of warehouse equipment
- Any experience in delivery, receiving, packing, shipping, and storage of goods is preferred but not required
- An understanding of the proper methods and procedures used in safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping and delivery. Basic knowledge of inventory procedures
- Ability to manage time and competing priorities
- Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with the team
- Is energetically focused on efforts on meeting goals, missions, and objectives
- Must be flexible in working days, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business
