**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the cook or chef.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Help with food service during meal times, ensuring timely delivery of meals to customers or dining areas.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled and stored correctly to prevent contamination.
- Support the kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, including stocking supplies and assisting with inventory management.
- Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts to maintain a hygienic work environment.

**Skills**
- Experience in food preparation or service is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure tasks are completed accurately.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assist with various kitchen duties as needed.
- Basic cooking skills or experience in a restaurant setting can be beneficial for this role.
