We are known for our deep product knowledge, reliable service, and strong relationships with customers throughout the region. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Counter Sales Representative to join the team at our Dartmouth branch.

**Job Summary**

This is a front-line position helping customers at the sales counter. You’ll answer questions, provide pricing and availability, prepare orders, and talk through products to make sure contractors get what they need for the job. It’s fast-paced, hands-on, and ideal for someone who is interested in construction materials and enjoys solving problems with customers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist walk-in customers and phone inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Recommend appropriate products based on customer needs
- Proactively identify customer needs and offer value-added solutions to drive sales and enhance the customer experience
- Process orders, returns, and invoices accurately using company systems (Syspro)
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to fulfill customer orders quickly and accurately
- Maintain product knowledge across our full range of construction supplies
- Help with restocking and organizing the front area and showroom
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed

**Who Should Apply**

If you are eager to grow and learn, then you don’t necessarily need to have sales experience—but you _do_ need to be comfortable talking with tradespeople and understanding what they need.

**You might be**:

- Someone with experience in building construction, landscaping, or site work who’s ready to move into a customer-facing role
- A current or former yard/warehouse employee who knows the products and wants to work at the counter
- Someone with sales experience in a similar industry

**Qualifications**
- Strong oral communication skills and good follow-through with customers and coworkers
- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge across multiple categories
- Comfortable using computers and inventory/order systems (training provided)
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
