We are currently seeking a dedicated **_Assistant Controller (Trades)_** to join our team who will contribute to overall success of the Accounting Department by performing day to day financial transactions. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of accuracy.

**_What You Will Do: _**
- Prepare financial & operational reporting for multiple entities
- Compile analytical data related to daily and annual operations
- Assist with tax compliance and monthly tax filings
- Assist with documentation and monitoring of internal controls
- Be actively involved in month-end and year-end activities including journal entries, variance analysis and reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Develop and implement appropriate KPI reporting
- Assist operations by providing timely job cost reporting and analysis
- Review and update policies, processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement from both an operational and control perspective
- Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders to evaluate & resolve discrepancies

**_You Will Bring: _**
- Accounting designation CPA or in the final stages may be considered or equivalent experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel/Outlook)
- Must be detail oriented, analytical, problem solver and creative thinker
- Ability to work independently and perform at a high level of accuracy
- Highly committed to meeting all deadlines and goals
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
