We are getting ready to open our next DoughBox Wood-Fired Pizza & Pasta in Waterloo

While working at DoughBox, you will participate in multiple roles. We do not have set roles such as line cook, prep or cashier. We work as a team to deliver the DoughBox experience to our guests - Excellent Service and Quality Food in our Quick Service Restaurant.

All Team Members will have the opportunity to:

- Preparation of all menu items in our open-concept kitchen
- Prepare and organize in-store and online orders
- Handling cash and debit transactions
- In addition, all team members will participate and be responsible for:

- Cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, line and dining room
- The timely preparation of food in accordance with our recipes and standards
- Adhere to our food cost guidelines
- Ensuring the proper care, maintenance and cleaning of our kitchen equipment
- Able to set clear goals for your day, ensuring you have a task lined up for once you complete your last one
- Finding ways to work efficiently within your section so as to maintain proper service times despite high load periods
- Additional duties and assignments as requested

You need to be comfortable in a fast pace environment where you can communicate strongly and work closely with your fellow team members. We adhere to a fast pace where slow workers stand out.
Important strengths include
- Strong Communicative skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to hold momentum and a fast pace for long durations
- Good sense of teamwork and a willingness to help others
- Able to multi-task and think on the fly to overcome any challenges that arise
- Desire to make good food, in a good environment

Any experience in a kitchen or in a serving capacity is a benefit but not required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

- Waterloo, ON N2L 0K6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
