As a Day Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our building remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all employees and visitors. You will be responsible for performing a variety of janitorial and light maintenance tasks throughout the day.

**Location**: 100 Citigate Drive, Ottawa

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Janitorial Functions**:

- Perform regular cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, kitchen areas, and common touchpoints (elevator buttons, door handles, etc.).
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of lobby, entrance areas, and other common spaces.
- Dust cubicles, window sills, collaboration areas, filing areas, and feature staircase.
- Clean gym equipment and flooring, including shower stalls.
- **Maintenance Functions**:

- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as setting up meeting rooms or event spaces.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any immediate cleaning or maintenance needs.
- **General Duties**:

- Perform regular building walkthroughs to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards.
- Complete daily documentation and collaborate with the Property Manager and Janitorial Supervisor.
- Respond to any special requests from building occupants in a timely and professional manner.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with building occupants.
- Basic maintenance skills are a plus.
