Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our commercial facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained environment for employees, visitors, and clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on attention to detail and professionalism. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the overall upkeep of our property while working during daytime hours.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in common areas, restrooms, and entryways
  • Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Assist with light facilities maintenance such as changing light bulbs or reporting larger repair needs to management
  • Ensure restrooms are stocked with supplies and sanitized regularly
  • Monitor outdoor areas for debris or safety concerns and report issues promptly
  • Support overall facility upkeep to uphold a professional and welcoming environment

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and reaching as needed
