We are looking for a positive, dependable, self-motivated individual who has a love for seniors and will strive to always be providing the best service they can to the clients in our care. This position in our Assisted Living Facility will be REGULAR HOURS and SET DAYS of Saturday and Sunday 10:30am-6:30pm. This position is well suited to students. Extra shifts can be offered including those in other departments (serving, evening recreation, overnight housekeeping).

Under the direction of Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining and cleaning public areas and washing dinner dishes. Assistance with serving in the Dining Room at lunch will be an occasional duty. All Seniors' Centre staff are required to have First Aid and respond to any resident emergencies. This dependable, personable, professionally attired person will have a love for seniors and will strive to always be providing the best service they can to the clients in our care. Previous janitorial experience is an asset.

All applicants must be local and be fully vaccinated (2 primary doses as ordered by the PHO)

Wage: This is a union position and the wage has been recently negotiated but we are still waiting for the final number. Current hours will be paid at $18.50 but for all hours worked retro pay will be given within the next month or so. Increase is significant - we are expecting it to be $20-21+ per hour. Paid sick and vacation time are also applicable once probation is passed.

Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
