Located in the heart of Downtown Victoria, Quality Inn offers guests a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Housekeeping Supervisor** to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

**Position Summary**

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department and ensuring the overall cleanliness and presentation of the hotel. This role reports directly to the General Manager (GM).

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff to maintain optimal staffing levels.
- Ensure all team members deliver excellent customer service and understand guest expectations.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas.
- Inspect rooms regularly to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met.
- Enforce health and safety protocols, including WorkSafe and WHMIS guidelines.
- Ensure all housekeeping staff are professionally presented in uniform and well-groomed.
- Monitor departmental efficiency with a benchmark of:
**30 minutes per check-out room
**15 minutes per stayover room
- Ensure Union rules and agreements are followed at all times.
- Manage inventory and submit monthly reports to the GM.
- Ensure availability and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
- Prepare weekly or bi-weekly staff schedules based on seniority.
- Clean assigned rooms in accordance with Choice Hotels standards.
- Address and follow up on guest or management concerns promptly.
- Communicate maintenance issues to the Maintenance Department and support preventative maintenance efforts.
- Respond to emergency situations and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Participate in monthly Health & Safety Committee meetings.
- Recommend improvements to property assets and services to the FOM, GM, and Asset Manager.
- Administer Lost & Found procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts.
- Familiarity with unionized work environments is an asset.

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
