We are currently looking for a new team member with exceptional attention to detail and a background in the construction sector to fill the role of **Billing & Accounts Receivable Administrator.**

Located in Burnaby, BC, the **Billing & Accounts Receivable Administrator** will be responsible for the billing of completed work orders in an accurate and timely manner, assisting with data entry and performing other administrative duties as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Generate progress billings based on details provided by Project Managers
- Generate recurring rental billings & credit memos
- Communicate with Project Managers to verify invoicing information such as job, equipment, materials, hours of work and follow-up on spectrum approval status as necessary
- Communicate with customers, follows up on payment approval status or other required documentation and performs collection activities
- Assist with new customer set up including GST registry and request credit check
- Prepare and submit Intercompany and customer statements as needed
- Update and maintain company data in backup Excel spreadsheets
- Maintain AP aging, including follow-up of invoices on hold and credit memos
- Coordinate vendor payments with Division Controller
- Provides ad hoc reporting, accounting tasks, as required
- Assists with Month-end activities
- Provide various administrative support services, as necessary
- Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing and record management, photocopying, mailings, form letters, etc. Provide same task coverage for other Industrial Services Business units, as necessary

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business or Accounting is preferred
- 1 to 3 years’ A/R experience in a construction environment is preferred
- Proficient with MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience working with ERP systems is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent time management, prioritization, multitasking and organizational skills
