**Reports To**: Traffic Control Supervisor

**Employment Status**:Full time, Permanent. Hours will depend on specific contacts so flexibility is preferred

**About the Positions**:

If so, consider joining ATS Traffic's On-Street Services department as an LCT, also known as a Traffic Technician

**_ Traffic Technician/ Lane Closure Technician_**

Conducting traffic control around cities, construction sites and major events such as music festivals or sporting events. You will be responsible for implementing Traffic Management plans, setting up of signs and cones and closing off lanes. Traffic Technicians design safe lane closures and traffic detours with physical setup and removal of devices such as barricades, pylons, signage and digital messaging boards.

**Qualifications**:

- A valid **Class 5 driver’s license and 3-year clean driving abstract** is required.
- Own method of transportation to get to and from work is preferred.
- As this is a safety-sensitive position, all employees must undergo and pass a **pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.**_This includes use of marijuana, medical or non._**:

- Ability to successfully pass a Fit Test including lifting between 50 and 75 pounds.
- **A minimum of 6 months of experience as an LCT is required.**We will be verifying employment history and experience prior to hire.**:

- **TCP/LCT Certificate is required.**
