Sales Associate

**ROLE SUMMARY**

The person in this role will be responsible for managing current independent accounts throughout Vancouver Island, at both the head office and store level. There will also need to be a focus on driving business growth through existing and new products for current customers and pursuing leads on potential customers.

**RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Preparing and delivering sales presentations to potential and existing customers.
- Promptly submitting customers' purchase orders to the relevant department for processing.
- Resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner to maintain customer loyalty.
- Manage existing account relationships to ensure customer needs are being met
- Utilize good project management and communication skills, and handle multiple projects concurrently
- Must handle own administrative tasks for designated customers, including listing forms, and any other customer requirements
- Manage product roll outs and follow up with customers and internal team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Work closely with the sales administration team to drive sales improvements by way of demos, promotional activities and supporting documents, and retail execution excellence
- Drive sales growth for current customers by expanding programs, making profitable changes and introducing new product lines in collaboration with company objectives and direction from the leadership team
- Drive sales growth by pursuing leads with potential customers both within and outside the grocery and CPG industry
- Manage head office communications for new and current customers
- Carrying out complete audits (In Touch) and communicating the results of these audits to the relevant customer head office contacts
- Assisting the customer service team, as requested, to resolve any customer issues such as delivery delays or short shipped product, invoicing discrepancies

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
