Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for technology and products, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role offers an engaging environment where you can develop your sales skills, assist customers with their needs, and contribute to the overall success of our store. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail or technical sales are highly valued.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
  • Engage in upselling and suggest complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
  • Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product restocking
  • Support team members in achieving store sales goals through collaborative efforts

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills in English and French; other languages are a plus
  • Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technical sales preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for transactions and inventory management
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently when needed
