Maintenance Technician

Working in daily collaboration with Maintenance and Property Managers to identify and address common maintenance issues across multiple properties, performing repairs and installations. You must be able to successfully complete various common property management maintenance issues such as basic plumbing/heating, flooring, painting, plaster repairs, and more.

**Specific Role Responsibilities**
- Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance throughout various properties in our management portfolio.
- Perform repairs, installations of fixtures and appliances, and replacement of damaged systems.
- Successfully update your daily tasks on our online maintenance portal, outlining work completed, materials purchased, or any issues encountered.
- Potentially be on-call and available during blackout times in a calendar year, in addition to emergency after hours call during natural disasters.
- Successfully transition into our construction department when needed to work with our supervisors and subcontractors to complete various tasks and deficiencies on our construction jobsites.

**Qualifications**

To be considered for the position, you must possess the following skills and attributes.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in the construction field that emphasized various skills and attributes outlined above.
- Vocational school diploma or degree is an asset.
- Must possess your own tools, equipment and a valid G license.
- Must have a strong desire to meet and exceed expectations on maintenance and construction related tasks.
- Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills are required.

Salary and gas allowance to be discussed.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
