We are recruiting for the role of M Club Host. Our M Club host will create a warm and inviting experience in our M Club. They will provide VIP treatment to our Elite members and M Club paying guests offering an array of Food and Beverage options in a sophisticated environment. The M Club Host will be knowledgeable about the hotel, the downtown area and the many exciting attractions that Victoria provides, ensuring our guests enjoy all that our hotel and beautiful city have to offer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome M-Club guests upon their arrival to the lounge.
- Ensure guests are comfortable and well attended to throughout their stay in the lounge.
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Present, describe, and serve food and beverages to guests in a professional manner.
- Maintain knowledge of the lounge menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Perform regular checks on the food and beverage offerings to ensure they are stocked and presented in an organized fashion.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lounge at all times.
- Set up and break down the lounge area, including arranging seating and preparing food and beverage stations.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are in good working condition and report any issues to the appropriate department.
- Support colleagues in the lounge and other areas of the hotel as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- One-year previous experience in a similar role required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with poise and professionalism.
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairings and preparation techniques.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings (5:45am), weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Foodsafe Certificate.
- Serving it Right Certificate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.74 per hour
