**Job Overview**

We’re looking for a barista and food all-rounder who can make a mad coffee, prep food with ease, and add a little extra sunshine to our customers’ days. We're looking for someone who’s a **self-starter,**quick on their feet, great at following systems, and all about delivering **fun, friendly, and exceptional customer service.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Make a killer coffee and beverages** with efficiency and care.
- **Prepare and serve food** by following simple directions, including baking and light food prep.
- **Provide outstanding customer service**, creating a warm and welcoming experience.
- **Handle point-of-sale transactions and cash** with accuracy and efficiency.
- **Maintain café cleanliness**—keep the workspace, service area, and equipment tidy.
- **Restock supplies** and ensure the café is fully equipped for service.
- **Work collaboratively** with a small, passionate team to keep things running smoothly.
- **Follow systems and processes** to ensure consistency and quality in service.
- **Assist with event support** when needed, such as long-table dinners, book clubs, and community gatherings.

**Qualifications**
- **At least 1 year of experience** preparing and serving coffee and food (required).
- **Strong barista skills**—confident with an espresso machine, including grinding, dosing, tamping, and steaming milk to the correct texture and temperature for various drinks. (Latte art skills—heart and rosetta—required.)
- **Knowledge of specialty coffee** and familiarity with different brewing methods (espresso, pour-over, drip, etc.).
- **Ability to open the bar and dial in coffee** (training provided).
- **Excellent customer service skills**—warm, engaging, and able to create a welcoming experience.
- **Calm under pressure** and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- **Exceptional attention to detail** with strong multitasking abilities.
- **A passion for learning and growth**—always looking to refine your craft.
- **Reliable and punctual**—a team player with great interpersonal skills.

Schedule
- Day shift 8 am - 4 pm
