**Position Overview**:
The Logistics Coordinator at Van Beeks handles aspects of the day-to-day delivery and inventory management of the company including scheduling deliveries, customer service, ability to multitask and utilizing exceptional time management skills.

**Duties and Responsibilities include**:

- Organization and execution of daily deliveries.
- Schedule logistics utilizing external and internal sources for delivery throughout the Van Beek’s two locations, as well as to our valued customers.
- Route builder - LTR (load truck route) or PTL (partial truck load) pairing documents together.
- Planner - sending drivers out on a route.
- Communicate with and Dispatch drivers, co-workers and customers.
- Maintain inventory.
- Ensure order correctness prior to shipping.
- Processes orders through an order management system.
- Invoices and forwards documents to the customer as required.
- Acts as a liaison with the customer for all post-sale communications.
- Provide accurate pricing, quotes and delivery costs to customers as required.
- General office duties, answering phones.
- Liaison with vendors/suppliers as required, provide guidance to contractors and homeowners on various products/materials.
- Setting up Purchase Orders.
- Ability to work with NetSuite or NetScore software (an asset).
- Represent Van Beeks Landscape Supply in a professional manner in all situations.
- 10 hour shifts, including Saturdays. Extra hours during peak season.

**Qualifications**
- 3 + years of Logistics Coordination
- 1 year knowledge of the construction/landscaping industry
- Must have excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Oakville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- logistics coordination: 3 years (preferred)
- landscaping knowledge: 1 year (preferred)
