**What you will do in this role**:

- Ensuring customers are receiving excellent service and the products they need for safe, enjoyable skiing, and snowboarding
- Continuously updating knowledge of ski and snowboard mechanics and maintenance
- Working collaboratively with service shop staff
- Assembling, maintaining and repairing skis within Skiis & Biikes' productivity, quality, and safety guidelines
- Mounting ski and snowboard bindings, tuning and repairing skis and snowboards within Skiis & Biikes' productivity, quality, and safety guidelines
- Assisting customers in selecting appropriate parts, accessories, and services to meet their needs and ensure their ski, snowboard experiences are safe and enjoyable
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Answers phone inquiries as required
- Working collaboratively as a contributing member of the Skiis & Biikes Team to create an excellent customer service experience

**Requirements for this role**:

- Passion for snowboarding and/or skiing
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong teamwork skills and team orientation
- Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated organization and time management skills
- Retail and/or customer service experience considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Work well under pressure
- Availability to work a variety of shifts from Monday to Sunday
- Ski mechanic technical training considered an asset
- Experience working with a variety of skis i.e. kids skis, adult skis, race skis. Knowledgeable about latest ski equipment and technologies considered an asset
- 1-2 years experience in ski mounting, repair, and tuning in a ski shop is preferred

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
