Site Superintendent

As a Site Superintendent in one of the fastest growing residential builders in Calgary, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

What we look for?
Minimum of 5 years' experience in residential construction.
Knowledge of building code and safety code requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Desire for continuing education and personal development.
What will you do?
Trains new staff.
Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
Plan and direct all construction activities from start to move-in.
Ensure all homes are delivered on time, and within budget. This includes utilization of Company scheduling program and authorization of payments for labor and material.
**Management of subcontractors**: to include scheduling, inspection, quality control, and approval of work.
**Materials management**: to include scheduling and checking deliveries, correcting take offs, and insuring proper installation.
**Safety**: responsible for on-site implementation and management of Company safety program, to include inspections, toolbox talks, documentation, and reporting.
**Project maintenance**: monitors job-site cleanliness and holds subcontractors responsible for daily clean up.
**Customer Satisfaction**: ensures the deliveries of homes to our customers are handled in a professional manner in order to achieve a high level of Customer Satisfaction.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
